Addressing Students with Special Needs

The Special Needs Education Team

Inclusive Education means that all students in a school, regardless of their strengths or weaknesses, become part of the school. They are included in the feeling of belonging among other students and Support Staff.

Our school aims to help all students to succeed academically and socially in a holistic way.

Our team which consists of a Special educational needs coordinator SENCO and 12 facilitators meet regularly to discuss the students’ needs and performance.

We believe that team work is the answer to succeed so liaising with the subject teachers is imperative to further enhance the students’ performance

A message from the SENCO

Special needs help is given to those students who suffer from physical, psychological or academic problems. These students will not have the ability to follow the same scholastic programme as other students. Professional facilitators, teachers and administration help students where appropriate so that they will be able to follow with other students in the most possible manner. These facilities include the creation of individual educational programmes, practical rescheduling of exam timetables, consultations and meetings. The coordination and implementation of these initiatives help to improve and develop the child’s potential.
