This team is made of a Special Educational Needs
Coordinator and a complement of facilitators who help students with special
needs to cope within the classroom environment and normal scholastic life. The
Coordinator has the special job of coordinating all the work connected not only
with special needs students but also identification and planning for the
subsequent help to be provided to students experiencing some form of learning
difficulty at school. Regular meetings are held with teachers to ensure ongoing
evaluation of the help given to these students and with parents to discuss
issues that arise from time to time. An open channel of communication is kept
open at all times with external experts and organizations for guidance and
discussions or all aspects of inclusion.
