The spirit of community is very evident during
Marian Day that is celebrated in our College a few days after Mothering Sunday,
some time in May. All mothers are invited to attend the festivities that are
held on that day. In fact, they are the centre of attention during this day. A
religious ceremony is held in which the youngest student of the College crowns
the Statue of Our Lady. The culmination of the whole ceremony is the poignant
moment in which students disperse, looking for their mothers and presenting them
with a flower and a kiss.
