The
Parent-Teacher Association (P.T.A.) is made up of a number of teachers and
parents who are elected after nominations are received and elections held during
the General Meeting held every two years at the beginning of the scholastic year. The role of the P.T.A. is not merely a fund-raising one but plays a vital
role in bringing about co-operation between parents, teaching staff and students
in the true spirit of the National Minimum Curriculum. One of the main aims of
the P.T.A. is to find ways to increase parent participation and co-operation,
improve social and cultural activities and to provide a forum for constructive
suggestions to the attention of the College administration.
