Reunion Monday 17th December |

A St. Augustine College Old Boys reunion was organized on Friday, 7th December 2007. It was held at the College and there was an excellent turnout for the event. For the purpose of this event, invitations were sent out to students who left the college from the late 1980’s onwards. There were quite a few “older” ones present, who had heard about the event through word of mouth. After a brief welcoming speech by the Rector, Fr Alan Scerri osa, things got underway with a reception held in the College hall.
The ex-students took the opportunity to go about the College, revisiting classrooms, and other new facilities such as labs, the 5-a-side artificial turf pitch and refurbished gymnasium.
The fact that there was such a turnout was evidence that past pupils still hold the College at heart. It was an occasion which re-united these ex-pupils with their ex-teachers and other members of the College administration. It was a unanimous wish that such events should be held more frequently in the future.
