Opening Mass

On the 24th of September, St. Augustine College of Pieta’ marked the beginning of another scholastic year, the 160th in its history. As is the tradition in this college, students, teachers and parents met for the celebration of Holy Mass which was concelebrated at St. Sebastian Parish Church. After Mass and a welcoming address by Fr. Alan Scerri , the College Rector, Osneph Zammit, a 5th Form School Leaver and Ms Irene Saliba were presented with the medal ‘Gieh il-Kullegg’. Mr. Zammit was rewarded for his service in the College School Council and Ms. Saliba for her services to the college over the last years.

St. Augustine College is looking forward for its 160thyear of service to students, aiming to make this yet another successful year.
