School Library

Monday 5th November

In the St Augustine College Library one can find a wide range of books ideal for secondary boy students. Among others genre, one can find fiction books, both in Maltese and in English, as well as in Italian and in French. Apart from fiction books there are also various Encyclopedias, Non-Fiction books, books on General Knowledge and Science Books. The library also provides books and other sources of information regarding subjects studied as part of the ordinary level curriculum. Books to be used as reference for projects given during the scholastic year are also to be found in the school library.

Library sessions are a part of the weekly time-table during the first three scholastic years; therefore our students are constantly being encouraged to read. As for the senior years the academic curriculum is more tight, making it practically impossible for a library session to be included in the time-table.

Please note that the library is open three times a week during the long break allowing students to make full use of the library.

READING SHOULD BE FUN. As a librarian, I work in line with both the teachers’ and the students’ requirements regarding which new books are to be introduced into the school library, thus keeping our school library constantly updated.
