Our college has teamed up with three other European schools to carry out a project entitled CrissCross as part of the Comenius European Union Educational Programme. Our school partners are Athenee Royal Jean Rey, in Couvin (Belgium), Ampleforth College in York (England) and Ozel Bostanci Doga Lisesi in Istanbul (Turkey). Together, we will investigate how the different participating countries have interacted in the past and present. We will explore common historical events, mutual cultural influences and we will share learning experiences. Our students will be able to communicate with students in Belgium, England and Turkey, while our teaching staff will have an opportunity to share teaching experiences. The project has started this year and is envisaged to take three years.
